LMR16006Y-Q1: Shutdown connected to Vin

Hello,

Instead of connecting shutdown (SHDN) pin thorough a resistor to Vin, is it possible to connect directly to Vin?

The datasheet shows a100K resistor.

Hey Keith,

The datasheet says to use a 100k resistor many times, however one of the two application schematics shows (SHDN) connected directly to VIN. The 100k is probably for FMEA but let me ask around and get you a solid answer.

Got confirmation. Connecting (SHDN) directly to VIN is okay but we recommend 100k resistor if you have FMEA considerations.
