BQ24780S: Can support charge for Li-ion Phosphate cells?

Hi, 

I found the supported battery cells by BQ24780S include Li-ion Phosphaste but I can't find the description on the datasheet. I plan to use the charger IC to charge 4-LiFePO4 cell in series. 

Does the charger IC support for the cell?

    Albert,

    Yes, BQ24780S can support 4-LiFePO4 battery. And due to this part is smart charger, so all charge voltage and charge current should be programmed by user.

    And we also have one standalone charger part, BQ24630 which mentioned to support LiFePO4 battery, I think you can also reference it.
