LP8758-E0: Buck core of each channel

Part Number: LP8758-E0

Hi,

Does this device have the same Buck core for each channel?

The following information is described in 8.2.1 of the data sheet P.46.
Does each Buck core have a difference, and there is a recommendation condition for each core?

<Description content>
"It is best to assign the voltage rails as follows:Buck 0 - 1000 mV, 2.5 A; Buck 1 - 2500 mV, 4.5 A; Buck 2 - 1200 mV, 3.5 A; and Buck 3 - 1800 mV, 4.5 A. "

Best regards,

  • Hi, Yuto-san,
    LP8758-XX all 4 Buck cores have exact same design, but different OTP devices have different power on default register settings . The LP8758-E0 has its power on default register settings as datasheet P.46 and you mentioned. If the default setting can't meet customer's application needs, then re-configuration is needed by I2C registers writing; if customer's application needs different power on setting, then an OTP device is needed.
    Please let's know if you have more questions.
    Thanks!
