TINA/Spice/LM46002: LM46002_simulation

Part Number: LM46002
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

I am using LM46002 to step down from 12V to 3.3V, 2A. I have designed the circuit as below:

3.3V_switcher - autosave 18-08-31 11_38.TSC

I am not getting any output during simulation. I am unable to identify the errors. Please help

Regards,

Anjana G

  • Anjana,

Your sim files has a few disconnected wires. I tried connecting them and I still got errors. I was able to create a new design in WEBENCH and export to TINA which was able to simulate. This is probably the quickest method instead of debugging your current .TSC.

For WEBENCH: Go to the LM46002 product folder, scroll down and look on the right for WEBENCH designer. Put in your specs, create design, then the top bar gives you an option to export to spice.
