TPS22810: Vout goes low when EN pin is disabled

Part Number: TPS22810

Hello,

The customer has experienced that a LDO output doesn't go 0V when EN pin is disabled.

The current configuration is LDO -> TPS22810. TPS22810 enable pin is used for enable/disable control.

Does TPS22810 output voltage goes 0V when EN pin is low without using QOD feature?

I think so but please let me confirm this.

Best regards,

Toshihiro Watanabe

  • Hi Toshihiro,

If QOD is not being used on the device, the output will remain floating when EN is low. The rate at which the output falls will depend on your output capacitance and the output load you're driving. To ensure the output voltage goes to 0V, you'll have to connect QOD or an external pull-down resistor circuit.

Let me know if you have any additional questions!

    Thanks,
