Hi, 

My customer is searching for the solutions for single cell Li-lon battery, 

Spec: 

Battery: 8300mAh 3.8V

Can you help to confirm if this part is a proper solution?

    For the protector,
    My first suggestion is BQ2980, please also help to double check if this part is the proper for the single protector.

    Hi!
    The bq2980 is a the most accurate and high-featured single-cell protector. For a simpler protector they can look at the bq2970 family. They will need to select the correct part number to match the protection thresholds they require.
    bq27621-G1 can also work for their gauge, but there are many other options. bq27742-G1 is an example which integrates the protection and gauge function in one IC.
