LP5562: Turn LED on as soon as enable line pulled high

is it possible to have the LED come on immediately after the enable is pulled high? Because it takes a while for our SoC to boot, it takes ~30s for the I2C driver to come up and issue commands to the LP5562. However, we would like the LED to come on right as the board is powered. Is there some way to do that with the LP5562? Either with some kind of pull-up or pre-programming?

Hi, Irene,

There has to be commands from MCU to turn on the LEDs because the default value of internal registers are used to make sure the driver won't turn on any LEDs in unexpected way before the MCU sends correct commands to it.

Hi Kenneth,

Just want to chime in and follow up here. Just to confirm, there is no way to configure the schematic with this device such that LEDs are turned on the moment it receives power? If not would you know of any devices that would have this capability?

Yes, LEDs can be turned on only after driver received commands.
