TL431: Iref vs Vref characteristics

Hello,

I understood the absolute maximum ratings of the Iref is 10mA .

Could you give me the characteristics of the Iref vs Vref?

The condition of the evaluation is OPEN loop. (Cathode is open. Not to connect Cathode-Vref)

Hi Naoki,

I have the following graph on VRef vs IRef. As you can see the Iref is very low until VRef = 2.495V. Above 2.5V that the Iref current increases greatly. I did not map above 500uA because it is was not practical when I did this set up. It just shows how necessary it is to have a resistor in series with the feedback pin to limit the current in open loop.
