1. Yes if there is additional capacitance on /RESET, the delay will be extended. WDI connection will determine if the reset is caused by VDD or by WDI.

2. The correct way to test reset delay is to bring VDD above VIT+ and measure the time from VDD crossing above VIT+ to the time /RESET signal comes up.

I have requested to change the configuration to remove the capacitor on /RESET pin and to leave WDI floating to check if the device is working correctly. This simple test will determine if the longer than expected delay is caused by the device or by the circuit configuration. I will wait for your results. Thanks.
