Hello

I will design a 150W power converter.

The voltage input is 75 volt.

It is very difficult to find the p-ch Mosfet over -300V of VDSS.

It is quite easy to find the n-ch Mosfet over 300V of VDSS.

Can the aux signal be transferred to high side by a pulse transformer?

I might have to design a high side active clamp converter with UCC2897A.

Is it possible?

Hello Andy,
You are correct that it is difficult to source high voltage P channel FETs.
However the LM5026 active clamp controller can be configured for both N channel or P channel.
You may be able to use this part in place of the UC2897A.

Will it work as same as LM5026 if the UCC2897A aux signal is sent to the high side by an inverse transformer??
I think the distance is not enough between pin1 & pin2 of LM5026.
