BQ27426: EVM after shutdown

Hi, team,

Could you please let me know about the behavior of EVM after shutdown?

As I tried below procedure, communication in watch window of the bqStudio show incorrect value.

1. Power ON the evm with VDD = 3.5V and show the voltage, average-current and temp register in watch window
2. Step down VDD from 3.5V to under 2.5V.
3.  Stop updating register value in watch window
4. Step up VDD from under 2.5V to 3.5V
5. recover the updating register value but it is incorrect value.

After disconnect EVM, bqStudio seems not to show correct information in watch window. Is it the bug of bqStudio?

    Hi Nagata
    If i understand your question correctly, this device is a ROM based gauge. Once you undergo a POR all programmed values on the gauge get reset to the default values.

    if i didn't correctly address you question, pls send a snap shot of bqstudio to show what it is you are seeing.
