TPS1H000-Q1: 800 mA external current limit programmed yet current limit ocassionally trips at Icl (> 1A)

Is it possible that power supply noise causes the external current limit setting to be ignored, causing the TPS1H000 to trip at the higher, internal current limit setting instead?

If so, is there a way to mitigate the risk of this occurring?

Our external setting is for 800 mA.
