Hello All,

We are designing Fast charging device with USB PD 3.0 Type C Cable.

Input AC: 85 to 264V

Output DC: 20V, 5A.

Can anyone suggest me any reference design with block diagram as well as Design guidelines to overcome 100W with all protections.

Suggest layout specific guidelines for designing 100W.

Help will be appreciated.

Hi Fullilove,

Appreciate your help.

As per new technology i want to go with USB PD fast charging, Where i can plug my device to charge at 20V 5A ratings with USB Type C connector and cable.

Can you suggest USb PD controller which can deliver 20V DC and 5A Current.
It would be helpful.

Hardik, take a look at a few device solutions that may be a fit. There is the TPS65987D and the TPS65988. Also, there are two new reference designs coming out next week based on the TPS65987 device that may be of interest as well. Those designs are currently in RTM signoff this week.
