BQ40Z50-R1: BQ40Z50-R1: Chemistry Programming Error 1470.

Hello,

We are producing battery packs with the BQ40z50-R1 IC, but in one of our computers whenever we want to load the chemistry, we get the "Chemistry programming failed!" Message with the error code 1470. Could you help us and find what the problem might be?

    Does it only happen on one computer but works on other computers?
    Are you able to write/modify any dataflash parameters on the Data Memory tab? If you can't manually change dataflash then the chemistry programming to dataflash will also fail.
    The most common reason for not being able to write to dataflash is that the voltage is too low (below Valid Update Voltage).

    Thanks! I have solved this problem.The reason is that the IC is sealed.
