BQ24085: Cin and Cout Capacitor selection

Dear Helpdesk,

For the BQ24085, can we use Tantalum Capacitor instead of Ceramic Capacitor in the CIN and COUT location? Any side effect if we change for this?

    The BQ24085 is designed to use low ESR ceramic capacitors on input and output. Higher ESR capacitors such as tantalum have not been evaluated and performance is unknown.
    We recommend using ceramic capacitors for this application.
