The thermal resistance value of TPS7A85A is different from the value of TPS7A85.

Is this true? If it is yes, why is the value different?

    Hi Kohei,

    The thermal resistance between TPS7A85A and TPS7A85 are different. There are a variety of factors that impact the thermal performance of a device including leadframe, die size, die placement/orientation in the package, mold compound, and more. While the type of package has a large impact on thermals, due to the other factors, there can still be a large variation between two devices in the same package.
