LM5122ZA: OPT pin

HI

I am using this controller for single phase DC DC boost converter. I am using external clock instead of internal oscillator. I do not understand the function of OPT pin in this controller can anyone please explain me how to use OPT pin as it cannot be left floating?

    Hi Muhammad,

    Thank you fore considering the LM51222A. The OPT is to set the IC in master or slave mode, which determines how the IC "decodes" the external clock signal for both its own and SYNCOUT switching frequency and phases. Please refer to Sections 7.4.4, and 8.1.3 for details.
