TINA/Spice/TPS62160: TINA SPICE model limitations for TPS621x

Hi,

I noticed there are some limitation on the TINA TI SPICE model preventing us from exporting to general SPICE model

1) for TPS62160 here's the script exported when following the procedure found in TI youtube TINA export

attached file is the general model, we can't processed it

2) For model TPS621351

The web attach model does not contain general PSPICE model, any ways to get the SPICE model?

3) SPICE models were only meant for Transient simulation?

Leo,

The method shown in the video is only applicable if the model is unencrypted. If the model is encrypted as is the case with TPS62K devices, they can only be used in the simulator in which they were encrypted.

Can you elaborate on what your end goal is?

Hi Nikhil,
my client would like to use the unencrypted model to perform simulations on different platforms such as Cadence or ADS on the layout & unfortunately TINA could not simulate on layout level. therefore there was a need for unencrypted Spice model.
