BQ4050 can read the data, but can not write configuration data to the DA through the host computer software, But the evaluation board is OK, please ask if you need to unlock and other steps, how to operate,

Please check if your gauge is unsealed and in full access mode. That is indicated by SEC1, SEC0 set to 01 in the registers.

I read out SEC1, SEC0 is set to 11, I tried the password unlocked by the manual, but it won't work.

Elsa,

Please confirm again that you have SEC1,0 set to 11. If it is and if you have set a password other than the default, then we can't help you. There is no other method to unlock the gauge and the gauge needs to be unlocked if we need to reflash it.

Sorry we can't help you. You need to get another gauge or evm.
