TPS61177A: Is a pull-down recommended for the ENB input?

Hi Folks,

I'm designing in the TPS61177A chip and I have a question regarding the ENB input. My microcontroller output doesn't have the option of enabling a pull-down (only pull-up) so do you recommend putting a pull-down resistor on the ENB line? Will I still need the 10K resistor in series with the ENB input?

Hi Richard,
For ENB pin, there is also a internal 600kOhm pulldown resister.. So you don't need to put another resister. I think you 'd better to put 10k ineries resister with the ENB pin to protect it. Thanks.

Thanks Sean. If I might be able to add to the wish list -maybe the next time the datasheet gets updated, the ENB description gets modified to add the fact that there's an internal pull-down.
