TPS61196: thermal estimation

Hi team,

would you please suggest the estimated temperature rise of TPS61196 under working condition below? thanks.

2*TPS61196 on the PCB, 4 layer PCB, PCB size is 125mm*75mm，PCB thickness is 1mm，Copper thickness is 1oz on Top and Bottom layer, 0.5oz for 2^nd and 3^rd layer.

Vin: 12V or 24V

Vout: 39.6V

Iout: 6ch*110mA for each TPS61196

Hi Kevin,

I'm sorry that we don't have the tool to calculate the temperature with PCB material. It's difficult to estimate due to the place of components and layout. I suggest you to order an EVM from www.ti.com/.../tps61196evm-600 to set up the EVM with your application and have a real test. Although EVM only has two layers, but I think the test results is more reliable. Thanks.
