Dear Team,

In the TPS24750 reference design. D4 use [Diode, TVS, Uni, 18V, 600W, SMB SMB SMBJ18A-13-F Diodes Inc.]

Can they change to below components?

Please help on making sure these two TVS are suitable or not.

Hi Kevin,

SMB package is needed to absorb energy while interrupting a fault current.
What is the max. load current of the system? where is the device TPS24750 placed - is it at front-end?

Did you get any further information from the customer? If not - Please recommend SMB package TVS to the customer for better margin.
