Hello team,

My customer has questions about TPS61021A.

He would like to design as below, however he did not find good IC.

<Specification >
Vin= 1.2V
Vout = 3.3V
Iout = 1.2A

1) Can we have some good boost ICs?
2) Is it possible to use TPS61021A by the way as the following parallel connection?

Hi Akihisa-San,

What is the lowest input voltage? Are the 3.3V/1.2A peak current should be also met at the lowest input volatge condition?

Thank you for your reply imidiately.

The lowest input voltage may be 1.0V. However the customer did not decided the power specification, so they may change the specification of Vin, Vout and Iout.

Would you please advise me for thier poer specification? I belieave that 1pcs TPS61021A is not meet with thier power specification.

Hi Akihisa-San,

Our TI design PMP9772 can meet this requirement. You can download it from the TI website. And our new device TPS61022 may also fit. This devcie will be RTMed middle next year.

What is the schedule at the customer side, if it is not so tight? We can offer them samples first.
