UCC2803: Can the UCC2803 Current-mode PWM Controlles be used as PWM modulator of analog signal?

Hello!

Recently, I was working on Class D amplifier ,and looking for a single-channel analog PWM modulator. On TI website ,I found several Current-mode PWM Controlles,but I don't know whether the current-mode PWM Controlles can be used as PWM modulator for analog signals. if yes, can you provide schematic to me?The chip manual is all about the power application description, there is no part about the analog signal PWM modulation.

I hope you can help me solve this problem.Thank you very much!

Hello user4998481,
Im not sure what it is you are looking to do in your application. The UCC28003 is an analog PWM controller so it will be able to work in your application.
You can control the PWM output by grounding the FB pin and adjusting the output of the COMP pin.
You will get zero duty cycle by forcing COMP to ground and max duty cycle by open circuit on COMP.

Thank you for your reply!I want to use the UCC28003 chip to modulate a sinusoidal signal into a PWM wave, but I don't know how the circuit should be designed, there is only a schematic of the power application in the chip manual.Can you tell me how to do circuit design?

We do not have a reference design that demonstrates how to modulate the PWM or COMP signal with a sine wave pattern.
