BQ2084: About Alarm Warning - error code 0x0007

Hi 

When I read Alarm Warning register from bq2084, sometimes get the Low byte = 0xC7.

But the battery charge/discharge seems no problem.

What kind of situation will cause the Unknow Error code 0x0007?

    Hi,
    Typically the "Unknown Error" code is returneed if the SMB engine detects anything wrong during the transaction, based on the SMB engine status bits. Data might or might not have come through correctly.
    The situations where I have seen this before is when there is an unexpected NACK, or the Vil/Vih spec violation, rise time or other timing related violations on the bus.
