TPS61040-Q1: Switching Frequency Calculation

Part Number: TPS61040-Q1

Hi Team,

I am looking to use the TPS61040-Q1 in an application where I need to ensure the switching frequency stays below 500kHz. I have the following operating conditions..

Vin: Regulated 5V

Vout: 8V

Iout(max): 70mA

Using a 10uH inductor, I calculate that my max switching frequency would be approximately 468kHz, while my typical switching frequency during nominal load will be 288kHz using equations 2 and 3 in the datasheet.

Can you please verify that I did the math on those numbers correctly? I am not sure if I used equation 1 correctly to calculate peak current..

Thank you in advance for your support!
