Daytime running light model recommended

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92692, TPS92515, TPS92518

一. A low version:

1. Input voltage range: 9V-16V, the recommended input voltage range is 5V~27V or greater.
2. Working voltage: 12V; test voltage: 13.5V
3. Load: 3V, 150mA white LEDs each. A total of 30. The series and parallel connection is not limited.
4. Drive requirements: constant current.
5. Topology: SEPIC or BUCK-BOOST is recommended.
6. Other requirements: 1. PWM brightness adjustment.

二. High version:

The lighting mode of the 30 LEDs needs to be illuminated by running water, and the running water mode is sequentially illuminated from 1 to 30. For this, you need to reserve logic control.

三. Component requirements:

1. Car level
2. The temperature resistance of chips and other components should be no less than -40 ° C ~ 150 ° C.
3. Preference is given to chips and solutions with proven usage.
4. EMC compatibility (Do not choose a higher switching frequency to prevent EMC failure).

  • Hello,

For a low version, look at the TPS92692 EVM used as a buck-boost or boost (2 X 15 LEDs)

Is the high version individual control of the LEDs? If so I would look at TPS9266x (x=1,2 or 3) parts for the LED control and a voltage boost into either the TPS92518 or TPS92515 since they are hysteretic control.
