Part Number: TPS5430
We are using TPS5430 in production of our medical product, with annual consumption of 5000 TPS IC. Circuit is same as application circuit given.
Refering to application circuit,
R1 = 59 K
R2 = 15K
Vo = 6V ( Load 6V/10W lamp load )
Vi = 12V ( stable 12V from SMPS)
We observed that after few days of proper operation, TPS5430 misbehaves. It shows less voltage (~ 2.7V). Reason we found is C2 (0.01uF) failure. Because after replacing C2, it works properly.
