Alternatives to MAX1555

Hello team,

do we have an alternative to substitute the MAX1555 ? Is there a way to implement a charger from both USB and AC adapter?

    Hello Adrian,
    The BQ21040 would be our closest device to the MAX1555. It is a non power path charger with up to 800mA charging current, although it doesnt have USB and AC input. You can also look at the BQ25100 which has a different package.The other device we have with USB and AC input is the BQ24032A device though it has a higher charging current than the MAX1555 and an integrated LDO.
    You can implement this using schottky diodes although you'll have to account for the voltage drop.
