Hi,

are the BQ500210 and the BQ51013A, EN303417 qualified? If not, do we have solutions that are?

EN303417 would apply to the final product not IC. The EVMs for BQ500210 and BQ51013A have not been tested to this standard.
Note the 210 and 013A are very old devices that were designed to WPC 1.0 and do not have FOD detection.
Recommend to look at the BQ500212A or BQ500511A / 002A for TX, 5V input. For RX the BQ51013B is available.

Hi Bill,

thank you for your fast reply! I realised that BQ500212A or BQ500511A / 002A are NRND. Do you recommend them anyways?
Also:
Are the recommended devices pin to pin compatible?
Are there any software/hardware changes required when replacing those parts?

Hi Stefan
All of the TI TX are NRND but no plans to EOL the WPC 1.1 units.
P to P compatible --- TX no, the 210 is 19V input and other units are 5V. The RX 013A vs 013B is but FOD function on B is working .

Is this a new design?
Will it require Qi certification?
