When we try to test the JETIA profile, we find that the output has two charging current and has VBAT drop voltage during the temperature recover from 0deg.C to 25deg.C.

Do you have idea for that?

Hi Gary:

What is the JEITA setting at? What are the T1, T2 and T3? What are the RT1 and RT2 values? How do you charge the temperature? Reduce to below 0C and then recovered up to 25C?

As I know the BQ25600 is support JETIA profile, so that they use the IC default setting.

They cooling the temperature under 0deb.C and make sure the charge current down to 0A. Then worm up the temperature. when the temperature up to 1 ~ 2 deg.C, the charging current is enabled. During this temperature, the charging current should be 20% of Icharge. But the actually current is over the 0.2Icharge. Do you have idea for that?

How much is the actually charge current? What is the fast charge current? Yes, it should be 20% of ICHG. Can you check and flip the bit of REG05 [0] and see if the charge current changes or not? The other possibility is the temperature may not be accurately measured or sensed. You may measure the thermistor and see if he Resistance is correct.

The charging current(BQ25606) we set is 600mA. At least, the themperature triggerred point we see shows good accuracy but with weird inrush current. The issue does not happen on BQ25600 that we use in the mobile. The BQ25606 is used to be the charging adapter in the same project. Please help to check it.

Your questions keep changing and the part number indicated was 600 now it becomes 606, Could you start a new question with bq25606's issue? This will clear the confusion.
