Hello,
customer is searching for a battery charger DC/DC with Vin=36V, Vout=30V, Iout=1A and then Iout 3A. Can this be done with LM3409?

Hello Holger,

LM3409 is a current regulator so yes it can regulate 1A and 3A and can be adjusted via Iadj. Since it is a current regulator it doesn't regulate voltage so if it needs to also clamp at 30V added circuitry would be needed to do that.
