LM2662: 5V to 10V

Part Number: LM2662

Hi!

My circuit is according to p.16 of the LM2662 datasheet (voltage doubler), but works as a simple diode, though the oscillator works well.
i tried to exchange the IC and switched the load off. There is no difference, the same result.

Can somebody give the circuit with exact components?

Thanks!

  • Hi Yourij,

I read the datasheet and the schematic of Figure 27 on p. 16 is complete, no other external components needed. It seems your circuit does not switch, so you only see the diode effects that is actually introduced there to help startup. Can you double check your circuit again? If I can be help, can you tell me the voltage on each pin vs the output ground?

    Thanks,

  • Dear Youhao Xi!

After examining the circuit according to your advice ( :-) ) I found that C1 is 220 pF only. So the oscillator signal didn't get to pin 2. After my exchanging the capacitance to 10 uF the circuit started successfully.

    Thanks for your advising!
