Need CISPR25 L5 EMC qualified buck for 12V to 5V, 0.1 to 2A

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54225

We are redesigning our TI EVM power delivery schematic and need an automotive qualified buck that passes CISPR25 L5 radiated emissions testing.

Input: 10V to 14V

Output: 5V at 0.05 to 2A

We are using the TPS54225 and have to disable it and provide an LDO for EMC testing because the noise is too high.  The LDO is getting too hot, so the preferred solution is a quiet switcher.

  • Hi Leister:
for 10V-14V input, 5V output, you can refer below apps note based on LMR14050-Qfor passing CISPER25 L5.
below is based on full load. for your application, you can choose LMR14020-Q or LMR14030-Q, both is Pin to Pin compatible.

you also can choose syn buck converter like LMR33630-Q for getting stable switching frequency from light load to full load.

most of DCDC need add differential choke and common choke for suppress switching noise and its harmonic frequency.

    Thanks
