BQ2002: Recommended fast-charge current range

Hi,

We got a question from the customer about bq2002.
Could you help us?

- They assume the recommended fast-charge current is spcified in table 1 which is "Corresponding Fast-Charge Rate". Is this their understnading correct?

- They want to reduce the fast-charge current as long as possible for reducing power dissipation of external regulator. If the setting fast-charge current is lower than table 1, are there any concerns about this?

    Reducing the charge current has some risk. The BQ2002C will look for a Neg delta in voltage for termination the BQ2002D/T will look for a rate of temp rise. If charge current is reduced the above changes will be harder to detect and charge may not terminate as expected.
