BQ20Z95: bqEVSW autodetects 950_2_18

Hi,

I have a device which is auto detected as 950_2_18 in bq evaluation software. I believe it is bq20z95 but version is 2.18.

This EVSW supports up to 950_1_50. Where can I get the right EVSW?

Or is this any other chip and if so what is the chip number and which software should I use. The device is a black box for me and I need to interface this device to develop a charger for it.

So this is all the information I have for now. Please help if anyone has any idea about this.

I tried this but it did not work. This software supports up to Dev:950,Ver:1.50, But my device is being auto detected as Dev:950,Ver:2.18.

Alright, I looked around and there's no version 2.18. I will confirm this with the developers today. If it's confirmed, the best I can do is to get you the 1.50 fw senc. Is that OK?

I am not sure if the chip is bq20z95. Can this be some other chip? Can this be bq34z950? I am not able to find the software for bq34z950, can you help me get it so I can check if this is bq34z950.

Or if this is some other chip please inform me.

Sorrry Batt , the device is sealed so I don't have access to the chip. As I said before it is a black box for me and I have to develop a charger for it.

Only the communication lines and power lines are available. I definitely know it is a Texas chip but have no idea what is its number. Cant you find out which chip it is from the auto detected device name 950_2_18 ? Does that mean there is no chip with this device number in Texas bq chip line? If you can help me find the chip it would be of great help.

Anyways can you please send me the software for bq34z950. I saw in a post that it needed to be requested. And can you find which other chips are auto detected as 950_ so that I can check with those chips?
