Here is a 100V ideal diode that may work for your application:

The max reverse voltage is 30V, so this can only be used with 24V or 12V adapter.

Apologies. It seems that this part was categorized as 100V, but only has a 36V max reverse voltage. Nonetheless, you can put a load switch or ideal diode there.

LM5050-1 OR-ing controller & one of our 100V rated N-FETs (www.ti.com/.../overview.html) may be a good place to start. I recommend posting to the OR-ing controller or N-FET forum for more indepth product recommendation. They should be able to give more support here.
