TPS65150: V(REF) loading

Part Number: TPS65150

Hi,

The datasheet for the TPS65150 states that when setting the voltage for the negative charge pump, the resistor R2 should be in the range of 39k to 150k. For our -8V application, this results in an R1 value of at least 250kOhm.

Typically we design for noisey environments and so this total resistance is quite high for our design. What is the implication of loading the V(REF) pin further - what current can it safely sink / source and is there any information on load regulation? Our design has a second power stage for the VGL rail and so I'm not too concerned about the accuracy.

Thanks
