Hello,
This post is somewhat related to an existing post [e2e.ti.com/.../2713565]
As the input voltage to the device falls, at what point will the device internals be fully reset? With the brownout holdup capacitor (1500 µF in our design), the input voltage to the device is held up for a very long time. We are looking to implement a reset circuit that will cycle power to the system, but need to know how long the system needs to remain off to ensure the device will be reset.
There are several thresholds listed in the UCD90120A datasheet that could apply here:
- Brownout Function = 2.6 V
- VRESET = 2.4 V
- VIL max = 1.4 V
How low does the input voltage to the device need to fall before the device is fully reset?
Thanks,
Stephen Bennett
