They are considering using GRM033R6YA104KE14 for the bootstrap capacitor. They are concerned about that the effective capacitance badly affects to the operation. How much is the recommended effective capacitance of the bootstrap capacitor?

Tateo-san,

The DC voltage is about 6V on Cboot capacitor in normal operation, for the cap you meantioned above, the effective capacitance will be 50nF with 6V DC bias voltage. this is still OK for LMR14030 operation.

It will dempends on operation duty cycle in actual application, 33nF is recommended minimum effective capacitance value for most cases.
