BQ25606: charging time enquiry

Hi

My customer is selecting BQ25606 for charging 3.7V, 2600mAh lithium ion battery
ICHG = 1300mA.


1)If the Battery is weak and below the V BATLOWV_FALL, the pre-charge will start at 5% of ICHG.
   How long it will it takes to exceed the VBATLOWV_FALL and go to Standard charge? How do you calculate the time?

2) What is the different between VBATLOWV_FALL with  VBAT_DPL_FALL?
    How long it it takes to charge from VBAT_DPT_FALL to reach the VBATLOWV_FALL level?
    and then how long it takes to charge from VBATLOWV_Fall to reach / exceed the threshold low battery level (>3V)?
    2.1 How long Trickle charge take time?
    2.2 How long Pre-charge take time?

    You may want to ask VBATLOWV_RISE. This really depends battery. Usually from a few minutes to 30 minutes. From 2 V to 3V, battery has limited capacity, probably 5% .

    2) What is the different between VBATLOWV_FALL with VBAT_DPL_FALL?

    As descried in the datasheet, VBATLOWV_FALL is the voltage threshold from fast charge to precharge. VBAT_DPL_FALL is the falling voltage threshold that Q4 turns off when BAT voltage drops. VBAT_DPL is for battery only mode and VBATLOWV_FAL is for charge mode.

    How long it it takes to charge from VBAT_DPT_FALL to reach the VBATLOWV_FALL level? and then how long it takes to charge from VBATLOWV_Fall to reach / exceed the threshold low battery level (>3V)?

    This really depends battery. Usually from a few minutes to 30 minutes. From 2 V to 3V, battery has limited capacity, probably 5% .

    For a good battery, charge time should be less than a few minutes
