Which point temperature is being monitored for the temperature obtained by reading 8Dh of TPS53667?

    Hi Yuto,

    The temperature reported through PMBus on our multiphase controllers such as the TPS53667 is the hottest power stage temperature sent along the TSEN line. It's not an average temperature of the power stages or PCB or anything like that.

    To find the hottest stage in case of an OTP shutdown you can use an IR probe or camera. Or, if you have series resistors on each power stage TSEN line, you can remove one at a time to find the offending part.
