Dear All,
Do you know how to calculation OCP setting point for TPS54231, cusomter use 19VIN, 12Vout, L=4.7uH, f_sw fixed at 570K, output caps use 10uF*2 pcs. Thanks

The over-current threshold is fixed at 2.3 A minimum and 3.5 A typical. That is peak switch current. If you are trying to calculate the dc load current, it is I OCP - 1/2 Ilpp.
Ilpp can be calculated from equation 9 in the data sheet.
John,
Thanks, I still have question about TPS54231 over current protection, can you please give me more explaination?
if TPS54231 over current moment, switching is limited, if we short output to GND whether output voltage will be not latch off mode, only output voltage drop? TPS54231 will normal output switching until output load and short removed?
If tyes, how to do we can let TPS54231 latch off when over current/ short current event? Thanks

OCP is non-latching. The peak current is limited on each pulse. The output voltage will fold back as the short circuit resistance times limited output current is less than teh regulated voltage. If you need latching OCP or hiccup mode you would have to design an external current sense and latch to control the EN pin of the device.
