TPS61240: About reverse current from VOUT to VIN

Hi Team,

IF VOUT > IN (for example, VOUT=5V, VIN=Open), does the reverse current flow?

I found “Reverse leakage current VOUT” in the datasheet so I understand that the reverse current doesn’t flow.

Is my understanding correct?

Hi Kanemaru,
If VOUT > IN (for example, VOUT=5V, VIN=Open), EN=0, there is 2.5uA reverse current flow.

Hi Jing-san,

Thank you for the information.

I understand that the internal MOSFET don’t have a body diode so don’t flow large reverse current.

Is my understanding correct?

Hi Kanemaru,
there is internal circuit to control body diode directio, if Vin>Vout, dody diode is from Vout to Vin. if Vin<Vout, dody diode is from Vin to Vout. So there is no large reverse current when EN=0.
