LM5022: We want to check the Dmin of the LM5022.

Part Number: LM5022

Hi team,

My customer wants to use the LM5022 to change 42v to 48v, 450khz switch frequency. i don't know how to get the Dmin of the device. Could you please show me the possibility and reason?

Thanks.

  • Hi Frank,

In the datasheet on page 6, the minimum duty cycle of the device can be 0%. In a boost converter, neglecting diode drop and drop across the FET, your duty cycle should be 12.5%, which is fine for the part, as it does not exceed the maximum duty cycle.

    Thanks,
