Hi All,

My customer is using LM53603-Q1 in their T-BOX product and meet EMC issue, so a 10R serial resister was added with Cboot to solve EMC issue. But after adding this resister, we found some board can not boot up under light load condition. I think it is caused by this resister and suspect whether this value can meet the requirements.

Hello Eric,

We have studied maximum RBOOT for the LM53603 and found that the largest value that should be used without further validation is 3 Ohms. If a larger value is used, the first problem encountered is usually startup at cold temperature.
