    Hello Eli,
    The primary difference between the BQ24079 and the BQ24079T is that the BQ24079 has a current based NTC monitoring while the BQ24079T has a voltage based NTC monitoring. With the BQ24079T, you have more flexibility in the temperature range in which the battery can operate.
