TPS2660: Device shuts down output power when a computer is connected

Part Number: TPS2660

I am using TPS2660 for distributing power to a couple of devices. The peak current requirements are within the 2A limit set by R(ilim).

I am able to power some of my other circuit boards but as soon I connect a computer or a cellular modem it trips the output power.

Please let me know if there is something I need to be aware of, before using TPS2660 to power devices like a computer or a modem.

Hello Hardik Patel,

If the input of Computer or Model has a quite a bit of input capacitance, then it might hit fast trip threshold of 4.6A and turn off.
Can you provide voltage and current waveforms so that we can check this issue.
