BQ24725A: Why won't the device reset with no adaptor connected?

Hi,

in the datasheet it says the device will reset if ACDET<0.6v, since ACDET is from adaptor, if no adaptor is connected, ACDET should be 0 and the device can't work.

Where am I wrong?

What feature/register isn't resetting that you think should reset? Are you testing on the EVM?

I don't think it should reset.
There must be some mistake for my understanding of this device.
But I don't know where I am wrong.

My understanding is that the device will inevitably reset when no adaptor is connected because now ACDET is below 0.6V.
