I am currently having some issues with this gauge and the problem looks like that the ITPOR bit gets set but I do not understand the reasons. I can tell this from the Flag Register when I get the pulse from GPOUT.
The battery in my device is soldered and I am not removing it while this happens. Apart from this, I am not setting Shutdown mode and I am definitely not setting GPOUT to 1 in order to go to POR (I am referring to page 11 of SLUUAC9A). I am also not sending a reset subcommand so it looks like the only way should be that the gauge is off and somehow REGIN pin > Vregin min. By the way, the gauge should be in NORMAL state.
What are REGIN pin and VRegin min? I could not find them in the datasheet.
Is there any other way I might be getting to POR?
